So what's the deal with Sir|Morphix?

Welll in case you were wondering here is:THE SIRMORPHIX UPDATE

Welllllllllll, firstly I've applied for deviantMAG, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm not exactly the best known or most popular guy around here so I'm not overly hopefull. However should something happen I might just "shit a brick"

Secondly I just went for a great trip. I spent about 5 days or so at a marine biology research station. I spent a lot of time studying stuff outside of class. It was really interesting seeing the things we had talked about out in its real enviroment. The water and areas that I was in were PRESTINE. It was truly beautiful.

Especially one thing, one night we took boats into the water and I saw the most amazing bioluminence. For those of you who don't know what that is. It's small protists (dinoflagellates) in water that when they are disturbed give off light. Therefore if you ran your hand through the water a trail of green light would swirl and sparkle behind it. Really it's something that is rare and not often seen.

Then I spent one day caveing. I spent aproximately 6 hours in a cave. It was so neat. It was pitch black without our headlamps. The cave was really something else. Some passages were so narrow you had to crawl on your stomach just to fit through. As well, one area like that we had to pump out water because it floods so you have to pump out the water and then quickly crawl though the tightest space in the entire cave, you have to turn your head completely sideways because the hemlets would touch the roof. Not very comfy over large boulders, let me assure you.

The best part in the cave however was the "rainbarrel" it's a 7 story drop off. I repelled all the way to the bottom and then climbed back out. It was probably the most adrenaline inducing experiances of my life. Funny enough, I had really hurt my shoulder the day before, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to go into the caves. Yet the rush allowed me to do things I probably couldn't have normally done with a perfectly fine arm.

Other issues about is my return to deviantART. After a relative silent stage, I've taken some keen words of advice from a fine friend and I'm moving back in soon. SO yeah, short updates.

Cheers
